Hey guys!  Here's a big Non-stop Idol cover album to tide you over!  ^_^
Starting in the early 70s and up to today, idol hits with names you'll recognize!
My only gripe is that they didn't have Iwasaki Hiromi (she had tons of #1 hits in the mid 70s!!!  What gives!?) and Okada Yukiko (you gotta respect Yukiko).  Other than that, pretty decent selection... it's an alright ensemble if you imagine trying to cram 30 years into a non-stop mix.

VA - Anison Joshibu (Anison女子部)

Hey did you ever watch Marmalade Boy?  Well... I didn't.  And now I'm too old to sit through a shojo romance anime anymore... agh.

This was another of my recent purchases, and I didn't notice till after I ordered that nearly ALL the songs on here are from Marmalade Boy!  I was ready to be disappointed, because I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy/relate to the songs.
  
However, it wasn't a complete loss!  Far from it.  You should get this CD just because of the AWESOME kick-ass Latin-flavored rendition of the Sailor Moon theme song!!!!!  Also, Track 3 is a great dancy number.  My fav track of the album.

The three artists featured on this CD are pretty obscure... couldn't find ANYTHING on eni (due to the fact the stage name is just too vague to research), Hasuki Sayaka seems to have been in some CMs and is part of a music group, and Komatsu Ran is an up-and-coming singer in the Tokyo area, currently playing live events around town.

VA - Majokko DISCO (魔女っ子DISCO)

Yay!  I got some stuff in the mail~~~  and I wanna share!  Fun!  >_<

This is something I've wanted for a while, upbeat covers of magical girl anime openings/endings (mostly from Studio Pierrot)!  It's not disco genre music, more electro/house, but it's fun!
The singers are nearly alllllll lesser known seiyuu (at least from what I researched), and I think some are ero-game seiyuu....!
But, they are auto-tuned enough to have ok voices.  I'm more into the beat with this one!  It's a nice take on songs that you may be familiar with (and if you downloaded my previous post for Kira Kira Majokko Cluv, you will definitely like this one).
